Son of Johann Justus Linderman and Anna Elizabeth Imbsweiler.
Married: Catharine McLean in 1743 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
They had fourteen children: Johan Justus, Elisabeth (Bette), Cornelius Sr, (his twin) Cornelia, Jacob Jr, Peter, David, Henrik “Henry”, Sarah, Ezekiel, Peggy, Jason, Jenny, and Catharine Linderman. All were born in Montgomery Township, Orange County, New York.
